Opera Universitaria provides around 1,150 accommodation places for non-resident students in student residences or appartments.
The accommodation is assigned with priority to students who meet the requirements set out in the Call for applications:
- economic condition (ISEE and ISPE thresholds)
- merit requirements (only for students enrolled in years subsequent to the first year).
There are also places reserved for UniTrento international mobility students.
It is also possible to request an accommodation for other students if there is still availability.
Opera Universitaria accommodations are located in areas from which it is easy to reach the departments, on foot, by bicycle (Bikesharing) or by public transport (Libera circolazione - Trentino Trasporti).

The University of Trento, in cooperation with the association UDU Trento and the regional command of the Guardia di Finanza, promotes the handbook:
Guida affitti: guida di sopravvivenza al mondo degli affitti per studenti universitari
The handbook is meant to help students house-hunting, understand the correct contract forms, understand how to access the affiliated accommodations, take advantages of the tax benefits, and how to detect and report to the Guardia di Finanza problems connected to home rentals.
