If you intend to apply for the scholarship and accommodation, you will have to fill in the ONLINE APPLICATION form starting from 11 July and by 24 August 2022, if you only intend to apply for the scholarship by 12 September 2022. If you are enrolling in the first year of the single-cycle degree course in Medicine and Surgery, you can apply for the scholarship by 5 October 2022.
Before completing the ONLINE application, you must request the ISEE 2022 Certificate valid for subsidized benefits for the right to university study.
ATTENTION! We recommend that you carefully read the Call for Applications for the awarding of scholarships, the awarding of accommodation and the exemption from tuition fees.
The requirements for obtaining benefits are economic condition and merit.
Your financial status is established on the basis of the ISEE indicator, which can be calculated by requesting the ISEE 2022 Certificate valid for subsidized benefits for the right to university study from a CAF (Italian tax office). If you are enrolling in years subsequent to your first year or are transferring from another university, you must also meet the merit requirement set out in the 2022/2023 Call for Applications for the course you intend to enroll in.
The second instalment of the scholarship will be paid after you have obtained and registered, by 5 August 2022 (by 30 September 2022 if you are enrolled in the Conservatory, the part-time Business Management degree course or the Master of Science degree courses in Civil Engineering, Environmental and Territorial Engineering or European and International Studies), the number of credits envisaged by the Call for your course (Appendix - Call 1 ISEE 2021/2022).
Payment of the second instalment of the scholarship will take place ex officio, subject to verification by the Offices of the achievement of the merit recorded in your career.
If you meet the financial condition requirements set out in the 2022/2023 Call for applications and are a recipient of a study scholarship, you will receive a 20% increase in the amount you are entitled to based on your ISEE. Remember, however, that this increase cannot be combined with the increase for students with an ISEE less than or equal to € 11,800.00 (half the limit set by the Call for applications, € 23,600.00).
If your ISEE 2022 Certificate has omissions/ discrepancies, you will find notes on the first page of the ISEE 2022 Certificate describing what has not been declared in the DSU or what does not correspond to the data collected ex officio. In this case, you must still submit your application for benefits by the deadline indicated in the 2022/2023 Call, but remember to submit a new DSU by 15 October 2022 at the latest, including the information previously omitted or otherwise stated, and notify Opera Universitaria immediately.
If you have not yet enrolled because you still have to take the admission test, or if you are a student who is graduating in another city and would like to enroll in a Master's degree course in Trento, you must still apply for the scholarship, accommodation and fee waiver within the deadlines specified in the Announcement.
In order to obtain the "non-resident" scholarship, you will have to upload in the ONLINE APPLICATION the copy of the rental contract from 13 September to 17 October 2022. Remember that the contract must be signed, registered with the Agenzia delle Entrate, in your name and last at least 10 months in the academic year 2022/2023. The copy of the contract must be uploaded in the online procedure in PDF format.
8. I am an "independent student” registered in Trento, what is the scholarship amount?
Independent student means that you have not been living in the house of your family of origin or in a house owned by one of your family members for two years and you have an income from employment or assimilated income of at least 9,000 euros in the last two years, with respect to the date of submission of the Single Substitute Declaration referred to in Article 10 of the DPCM/2013.
If you are an "independent student" you will be eligible for the "non-resident" scholarship, regardless of your municipality of residence, if you provide evidence of a valid tenancy agreement, as provided for by Ministerial Decree 1320/2021.
You will then need to upload a copy of a tenancy agreement registered in your name (lasting at least 10 months in the a.y. 2022-2023) in the ONLINE APPLICATION at www.operauni.tn.it (PDF format only) from 13 September to 17 October 2022.
for the other requirements see the CALL FOR APPLICATION 2022-2023
If you are a scholarship recipient for the academic year 2022/2023 and for part of the academic year you will be involved in grant-funded study mobility (Erasmus+ Study, work experience abroad, thesis research, etc.), you will be able to receive a grant for the months you stay in Trento with the rental contract and a grant for the months you are in mobility.
Example 1 - if you participate in Erasmus + for 6 months in the first semester and you do not upload a copy of a rental contract in the ONLINE APPLICATION by 17 October, you will initially receive a commuting grant. If, on your return, you upload a contract lasting at least 4 months, the grant will be recalculated and you will benefit from a scholarship as an in-residence student for 6 months and as a non-resident student for the months, you will spend in Trento, obtaining a supplement to the grant already paid.
Example 2 - if you upload a copy of a rental contract of at least 10 months in the ONLINE APPLICATION form by 17 October and you subsequently carry out an internship abroad, you will initially receive a non-resident student scholarship for the whole year, which will then be recalculated after confirmation of your mobility period: you will receive a non-resident scholarship for the months you spend in Trento and an on-site scholarship for the months you spend in the internship (if covered by the scholarship).
The accommodation ranking will be approved in the days immediately following the application deadline and in any case by 10 September 2022.
The scholarship ranking will be approved by 31 October 2022.
You will be able to consult the results of the rankings by accessing the RESULT OF THE APPLICATION page with your credentials (if you are a student at the University of Trento you can use your SPID code or the credentials issued by the University, if you are enrolled at other universities you must use your SPID credentials).
The second instalment of the scholarship for students enrolled in the first year of a course in the health professions or a single-cycle degree course in Medicine and Surgery will be paid upon achievement of at least 25 credits by 30 September 2022. The Offices will verify the merit with the secretariats of the relevant universities during the month of October.
If you are a resident of the province of Trento and have completed, in the period between September 2021 and June 2022, the single cycle of professional courses for Operatore Socio Sanitario (OSS), you can apply for the scholarship by filling in the ONLINE APPLICATION form on the Opera Universitaria website from 18 July to 19 September 2022. To access the application you must have SPID credentials. Remember that you must be in possession of the Declaration for the evaluation of the economic condition for facilitations regarding the right to study issued by one of the CAFs affiliated with the Autonomous Province of Trento.
You can apply even if you have not yet graduated but intend to graduate within the deadline set by the call.
The second instalment of the scholarship for students enrolled in the first year at another university in Italy or abroad will be paid as follows:
to those who are enrolled in their first year on courses at universities or institutes of university degree located in Italy upon achievement of 35 credits by 10 August 2022 (the Offices will verify the merit with the secretariats of the relevant universities during the month of September);
those enrolled in the first year of courses at universities or university-level institutes based abroad to achieve half of the credits envisaged in the study plan for the first year by 30 September 2022 (students will have to document the achievement of merit).
The second instalment of the scholarship for those enrolled in the first year of a Higher Professional Training course will be paid upon completion of 50% of the first-year training units by 31 October 2022.
The Offices will verify merit with the secretariats of the relevant institutes during the month of November.
